I have had a passion for design and decoration since I was a teenager and loved to accompany my dad while visiting his architectural projects and I was craving to learn from him. At home, I was always surrounded by his drawings and sketches. We used to travel a lot and I derived a lot of inspiration from Iranian contemporary architects and designers and extended it by traveling more often to Europe. Visiting architectural sites around the world instilled within me a desire for creating beauty and uniqueness. So, I am used to getting inspired by all my travels and daily striking details.
My love for interior design is evident in my precise attention to detail and inspiring sense of harmony and aesthetics. I like things that are glamorous. I always loved to create beauty out of almost everything. I started by decorating my own place and I believed it was a masterpiece of mine as a beginner. Then I specialized in interior architecture and design at Tehran Institute of Technology. My family and friends loved my style and hired me for their projects. So, I continued doing residential and commercial projects in Tehran and Dubai for almost 10 years. Then I moved to Vancouver and updated my education at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT).
My passion for creation made me also direct 6 short movies. My mentor in Cinema was Abbas Kiarostami, an internationally famous Iranian director, from whom I learned that the world is our workshop and not our home, so we must design and create as much as we can. I was able to screen 2 short movies of mine at Cannes Film Festival and that was the moment I felt even the word “Impossible” itself, is “I’m Possible”!
I design an interior space from scratch including materials and fixtures. Doing renovations on any scale. Coordinating with an architect from the start-up sketches to build a house from the ground up, such as furniture layout, kitchen and closet design, bathrooms, bedrooms, and stairs. Art positioning, decoration, and even minor cosmetic changes are among the services I provide.
My clients are my soul mates. I design for them so glamorous and unique as it is my own. I believe that each project of mine has a unique soul and it must be exciting, and timeless. I believe they should be faithful to their own taste because each person’s home is a great definition of their character. I ask them to share it with me and leave the rest to me.
